Uber will pay compensation to its employees , diagnosed with COVID-19
Uber will pay compensation to its employees, taxi drivers and couriers who have contracted a coronavirus infection. This was announced by Andrew McDonald, senior vice president of the company, to CNN news channel.
Uber said that drivers or delivery people who diagnosed with COVID-19 or who were asked to self-isolate by a public health authority “will receive financial assistance for up to 14 days while their account is on hold.”
Uber service unites taxi drivers in more than 100 cities around the world and is one of the market leaders. The company is headquartered in the US city of San Francisco, USA.
