BlaBlaCar stops investments in Russia
The press service of BlaBlaCar reported that the French headquarters of the company will suspend investments in its subsidiary in Russia and its financing. At the same time, as the representatives of the company emphasized, it will continue to work in Russia.
“BlaBlaCar, realizing its responsibility to more than 100 employees in Russia, as well as to the community of users and partners, has decided to continue working in the local market under the independent management of the Russian BlaBlaCar team,” BlaBlaCar said.
Earlier it was reported that the American company Uber, the owner of the taxi aggregator of the same name, is looking for an opportunity to sell its stake in a joint venture with Yandex and is reducing its presence in the management of the joint venture.
