Mikhail Mishustin signed the resolution on automatic extension of licenses in 2022
The Russian government has approved a decree on automatic renewal and simplified issuance of permits in 2022, the cabinet press service announced on Monday.
"Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the automatic 12-month extension of licenses and other types of permits, as well as their simplified receipt or reissuance in 2022," the statement said. The Cabinet of Ministers noted that this will reduce the burden on organizations and entrepreneurs, reduce costs associated with the passage of licensing procedures.
The measure will affect more than 120 types of permits, including those in agriculture, industry, retail, including trade in excisable goods, communication services, cab services. In total, more than 2.5 million permits will be automatically renewed or reissued under a simplified procedure.
The decree also postpones for a year the need to pass confirmation of conformity of products. "Such a decision was made due to technological limitations and the need to re-equip Russian enterprises under sanctions pressure," the government's press service clarified.
The resolution signed by Mishustin allows state bodies to be empowered to make decisions on reducing the timeframe for providing services in the field of permissive activities, on reducing mandatory requirements or the list of documents provided for licensing, as well as on cancelling the assessment of compliance with mandatory requirements.
